TIGER FLOWER STUDIO :: COLOR + WHIMSY FOR YOUR WALLS

I have a bad habit of getting a bit ‘matchy’ in my decorating (and wardrobing for that matter) and there’s no place that this bothers me more than when it comes to art. Sometimes I see pieces I love only to think ‘well, that’s not going to work in my house’.

Of all things, art purchases should not be based on color schemes, but purely on emotional response. So, I’ve been spending more time lately hunting down pieces I truly love, which brought me to this site – Tiger Flower Studio….

The variety of artists – and colorful selections is one of my favorites right now. It helps that their selections include some for the more fashion and interior inclined. But my favorite pieces are actually these imaginative chinoiserie scenes by Harrison Howard

The colors and scenes make me smile, and that is what art is all about – eliciting some kind of emotional response. It doesn’t always have to be happy, but some sort of reaction should always be felt when picking out pieces for your environment.

I also like the ridiculousness of this little gem – it seems to perfectly capture some form of crazy in my life that I adore.

You can choose from several sizes of giclée prints, framed or unframed. Check out the entire gallery of artists on the Tiger Flower Studio site.
