3 FALL RECIPES TO TRY THIS WEEKEND!

You may remember me mentioning my collaboration with Starbucks back in September to create lots of yummy (literally!) fall posts for this fun site we put together celebrating all things fall (including – of course – the release of their pumpkin spice via!).

Well, I thought I’d highlight a few of the recipes over there today to give you a taste (see what I did there?) of what you’ll find if you pop over to the site!

BREAKFAST // orange zest biscuits – two ways!

I looooove when I actually have a little time to do some baking on the weekends, so of course we had to whip up a breakfast recipe to go with our Starbucks coffee. These Orange Zest Biscuits are perfect because you can make them sweet or savory! We made one large batch, and split the dough in two – cranberries in one and rosemary in the other – to appease everyone at the table. Get the recipe here.

DINNER // wild black rice with roasted fall veggies

This may actually be the most beautiful dish I’ve ever made in my life. I love the rich fall colors against the wild black rice! And it’s fairly simple too – just a bit of roasting of carrots, beets, and butternut squash and you’ve got a delicious and dramatic dish to serve all season long. Perfect for a Halloween party too! DESSERT // rosemary pear pie

And finally… what’s fall without PIE!? I actually put together an apple one last weekend and now I’m hooked. This one, however, is my favorite – pear with a bit of rosemary!
