Next Stop, Transformation

Some of you know, especially if you follow me on instagram or facebook, that I decided to grow out my pixie. I enjoyed it for the year I had it, but like any girl I like to change my hair. It took two months, I can hardly believe it, to grow my hair into a short bob with a long side bang.

This is my Mary Margaret pixie from season one of Once Upon a Time. Like thousands of woman, I choped my locks off to gain the super cute pixie Ginny Goodwin made famous.

I think this is 7 weeks, two weeks after I decided to grow out my pixie and there isn't much of a difference.

9 weeks and my hair was starting to act unruly. I hate the stage where it's no longer a pixie, but not yet a bob. So hard to style for a girl who has no idea how to style hair.

Taken on my birthday. I had chopped off some layers to keep my hair from resembling Mr. Gold's. It's okay on a man, but not so much on a young lady. I started using Garnier Fructis fiber spikes power putty to help give my grow out a funky look.

{Sorry no make-up!}
Taken Christmas Eve. Mom was so kind as to trim it up and boy did it need a good trim!

Going on three months since I've decided to grow out my hair, it definitely is looking lik a flapper bob more and more. Which is awesome because I want to attempt finger waves on both me and my sister {she also has a 20s style bob}.

Now I have to decide what I want to do with it. I definitely want to chop some bangs to give it a Clara Bow feel. With the new season of Downton, I'm totally digging the 1920s. You can't get any better than Clara Bow!

Although I love my natural hair color, for over three years I have not dyed my hair. 1} Because I was getting tired of always touching up my roots. Dyeing hair black is a lot of upkeep. 2} After almost ten years of dyeing my hair almost every color of the rainbow it needed a rest. Now what? I definitely want to change the color, but not sure what to.

All I know, is that I'm ready for some major changes. Thankfully with my secret weapon, I've been losing weight and shopping my closet for things I haven't fit into in a long time. Woot! But now I want to transform everything. It's exciting and a little intimidating at the same time. I think it will be fun and I'm really looking forward to the process.

Sometimes change is a good thing.
