My Thoughts:
Before I watched this, I was for certain this would be a cheesy and ridiculous depiction of the Roman occupation and the early church. I am glad to be wrong. The Final Inquiry begins in the 9th hour of the day Jesus the Nazarene was executed by Roman crucifixion.

The Final Inquiry was a surprisingly good movie by Spanish and Italian film makers. Even one of my favorites F. Murray Abraham was in it, though his character is not meant to be a favorite. The journey of a pagan Roman soldier, Titus Valerio Tauro, in his discovery with the help of a Jewish believer, Tabitha, in the Messiah, is so much more than the description of a forbidden love. When in reality it was a story of love, but that of Titus finding faith in the man his country men crucified.

If you haven't seen this, I do recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as my sister and I have. I shared our copy with a few of the members of our Synagogue, who also thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters.

Happy Passover and Happy Easter
