on mother's day...

during the first truly warm weekend of spring

do not go to central park to try and take pictures

you will not find a quiet people-free spot

you will instead find all of new york on the grass and you will be asked repeatedly but you don't have children? (which is not so much a question as an accusation)

instead, go home, set up the timer and photoshop the air conditioner out of the shot. because that shit is fugly.
