This month the destination is Charleston, South Carolina. Each box comes with a “boarding ticket” detailing the items included.
Vintage Affair Studio Pineapple Pillow Case – Value $25
This pillow case was designed by Hazel Lane just for subscribers!
Charleston Engravers Tinis and Thyme Cutting Board – Value $15
This is another exclusive item made just for Hazel Lane subscribers. I love it so much for our bar – but it also would make a great gift. I’m torn!
Wild Flour Pastry Granola - Value $6
American Classic Tea Charleston Breakfast – Bonus
This granola didn’t come with ingredients, so I’m going to share it, but at least I get to enjoy the teal~
Sangria Bracelet – Value $10
This is a pretty simple bracelet, but I think the blue tassel keeps it interesting – it’s an elastic band bracelet so it fits perfectly. I think this is one of my favorite items in the box!
Oyster Salt and Sugar Cellars – Value $12
Dodeline Gold Foil Card - Value $5
These salt and sugar cellars are gold painted oyster shells. It’s not a useful product for me, but I appreciate the creative design.
Verdict: The value of this box comes out to $73 – a little over the $69.99 a month cost. Based on my experience with this subscription, I think Hazel Lane is much more about the curation that getting a high value box. If you want to get a very unique assortment of items from different US cities each month, I think it’s a great box. Without a doubt, you can tell a lot of thought went into the box each month.
