Earth Explorers at Arizona Science Center

Hi friends! Do you have kids who love science? I do, and I think it’s such an important thing to foster in them at a young age! Did you know that studies show that early exposure to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) educational resources lead to better performance in math and science down the road?! It’s important and one of the ways that we like to spark an interest in science is by taking our boys to Arizona Science Center!

Arizona Science Center has a rich history of exploration, innovation and collaboration. Beginning as a community project of The Junior League of Phoenix in 1980, the Center has established itself as a major institution of learning for families, teachers and students and other guests. Over three decades, with substantial help from the citizens of Phoenix and years of focused content and program development, the Center has grown to serve over a half million guests annually, of which nearly 140,000 are school children.

And now, Arizona Science Center has a NEW exhibit, National Geographic Presents: Earth Explorers! This exhibit revolves around some of Earth’s most spectacular eco-zones–the polar regions, oceans, rain forests, mountains and caves, and the African savanna–bringing the unparalleled adventures of National Geographic to life. Follow in the footsteps of explorers who routinely go to the ends of the Earth, all in the name of science. From coming face to face with a polar bear, to diving in a submersible, climbing to the top of a rain forest tree canopy, to soaring over the savanna in a hot air balloon, Earth Explorers allows guests of all ages to experience awe-inspiring parts of the world!

My boys had a BLAST exploring the new Earth Explorers exhibit.

So if you’re local or stopping through Phoenix, you have to check out Arizona Science Center! I guarantee they’ll have a good time!

Disclaimer: We were provided the opportunity to visit the AZ Science Center through Blended Extended. All opinions are my own.
