I snagged this vest early in the fall as part of my obsession with leather (and faux leather) accents, and I've been looking for the right way to wear it ever since. I finally found an opportunity when the arctic winter weather broke just long enough over a weekend to give us spring like temps in the upper 50s. I layered it over this fitted black sweater dress that I found on consignment about a year ago, and went for grey booties instead of black ones to brighten up the all black underneath. My final addition was this swan scarf, also found at Francesca's, that I've been obsessed with all winter.

So Lovies, I'm feeling a bit giddy because today is my birthday. Normally, I either travel, or I plan a big dinner or outing with friends; but this year I am keeping it simple, opting for a spa day today to treat myself, as well as a couple of small intimate dinners. I can't wait, and am so glad the snow came early and stopped early so that I can enjoy my day. However you are spending your Tuesday, I hope you have a fabulous one. I certainly plan to :-).
