trip back to Idaho

A couple of weeks ago we were able to go back to Idaho for Tyson's family reunion. Every year for the past 5 years we have had it up at Bear Lake.. which borders Utah and Idaho. The weather is always hit or miss but this year was the first time we didn't actually make it to the lake! Kinda sad, but the day we were suppose to go we had hardcore winds and chilly temps! The other days were nice and pretty just a little bit colder than what we are used to.. The kids luckily swam every day in the pool (warm or cold) we had one at the house we rent out so they didn't miss out anything! Lexi loved being around all her cousins (there are 5 more just her age)

Our theme this year for the reunion was the Wild West The kids had scavenger hunts, potato sack races, sidewalk chalk art, water balloon tosses, and cow pie throwing contest! Lexi's favorite part again was the scavenger hunt and swimming in the pool. we had our family slideshow night and just enjoyed a good time spending it with his family! There's 50 of them and somehow we have managed to find a house big enough that fits almost all of us in it!

the day we left.. of course it was beautiful out! I couldn't talk Ty into staying to go to the "beach lake" though he was eager to go spend the rest of our 24 hours before we flew out in his hometown! :)
