The Chicest Glasses That Ever Existed

It's amazing how opinions can change over the years. I remember when I was younger thinking how thankful I was that I didn't have to wear glasses, that I was blessed with perfect vision.

Several years ago though, I was given a prescription for reading glasses, and I was actually thrilled. No longer did they seem like something of a nuisance, but an accessory! They have evolved so much of the years, even from 10 years ago when I got my first pair-so many more styles, colors, indoor/outdoor options, you name it!

Being that my frames were almost 10 years old I knew I needed to update them and get with the current trends! I am in love!!

For those of you in the York area, York Eye Optical totally delivered with their selection. Although I think I had my heart set on these Michael Kors frames from the beginning, there was a great selection of trendy frames.
Not only do they have computerized fitting, but their glasses are created through digital lens technology, which means they are extremely personalized for you (more than just the prescription)-they are created so there is minimal unnatural head movement when reading, they provide comfortable transitions for different distances, and they reduce peripheral distortion.
I like that they take their time to create your glasses (typically 7-10 days). They don't just mass produce them on site so they can move on to the next customer. They take their time, making sure to meet your needs. They are super thorough during your appointment as well. I had an appointment not long after I got Bells Palsy and they were really thorough and cautious with my condition.
Amanda, their certified dispensing optician is super nice and extremely knowledgeable on all things optical and really takes her time with you!
