Summer Time Blazer

I love to layer, no matter what time of the year it is. For some reason I just feel more comfortable, and more at ease with the way I look when I am layered! Anyone else feel this way? I am the one that will be sweating my ass off wearing my denim jacket in the middle of the summer. I just can't help it!

I first wore this ikat cardigan for my birthday dinner back in January. It was a little lightweight for a cold winter day, but the perfect cover for my sleeveless romper at the time! Being that it's not super heavy, it was great to keep around for the spring and summer months- its a versatile, transitional, lightweight piece.

We headed to the park the other night, and although it was a bit steamy when we left I knew it was going to cool down as the evening progressed. So easy to toss on over a plain black tee, and adds a little bit of interest!
