Comfy Plaid

Nothing beats the weekends where you have no plans, am I right? Well, if you read my post yesterday, you know this past weekend wasn't one of those for us. But, the previous weekend was. Sunday rolled around and we realized we hadn't made a stop at the fair. (little tidbit- the York Fair is known as "America's first fair!) After Charlotte's nap, we rounded up the troops and decided to brave the fair- cheesy games, and fried food were definitely on the agenda!

With that in mind, I knew I wanted comfort for obvious reasons! I had been wanting to break out my newest plaid from Old Navy so I figured this would be perfect! I think it would be super easy to dress the plaid up a bit with a pair of nude heels and a blazer, but for this outfit, my vest and Converse were the perfect finishing touch! Plus, it was roomy enough for me to feast on fried Oreos and cotton candy! (seriously, how could you not go to a fair and NOT get fried oreos!)

I have already worn this shirt a few times and I know I will get my wear out of it a lot in the coming months. It is such a basic piece to have in your wardrobe. I feel like a plaid button up is something that will never go out of style (if even just to me!).
