Kohl's Diamond Collection + Giveaway

If there is one thing that is certain, it is that diamonds are a girls best friend. I don't know if I have ever met a gal who doesn't love a sparkly gem.

Lately my (nice, non costume) jewelry preference has been white gold. When my husband first started buying me nice jewelry it was yellow gold, because to me, that is what "adults" wore. Now? Not such a big fan of yellow gold. Luckily, my husband pays attention to what I love, and making me happy and treating me well is important to him!

What's also awesome is my husband and I understand how important it is for us to have time to ourselves, whether it be a whole day or just a few hours. I love to treat myself sometimes, and sort of unwind a little. Spa days are one of my favorite ways to unwind. A good massage and facial is where its at, ladies! Of course, shopping is awesome too. I think that goes without saying! As much as I love shopping with some girlfriends, the alone time to shop at my own pace can't be beat.

Date nights are another great way we like to unwind. Sometimes, they are just for the heck of it, but others for something special, like our dating anniversary (14 years!) or a birthday. Those are the times my husband likes to make it special (and me too, of course) with a little something that sparkles!

I am a frequent shopper of Kohl's but never really knew they had such an extensive diamond collection! Lately, I have been telling my husband to not worry about gifts for me for the holidays or my birthday....that is until I saw their selection. The Simply Vera Vera Wang wedding bands are super cute and (to me) have the look of a right hand ring-it doesn't scream "traditional wedding band." I am also a fan of anything that shows sentiment to my daughters, like initial necklaces. I'll take two please, one C and one E! What I like about their selection is that I (meaning my husband) can shop for me, but also get some other Christmas shopping done while he is there (toys for our girls, something nice for our parents).

I know I don't need to impress my husband a ton, but I do like to get dolled up for a date night every now and then...the Diamond Square Halo Engagement Ring is the perfect finishing touch!
