Movies watched in February

Ni filmer ble det på meg i februar. Det er litt lite, men True Detective og House of Cards har krevd sine plasser på skjermen. Av disse er Filth den beste, fordi den er skitten og fæl og rå og har James McAvoy i hovedrollen og er basert i Skottland med verdens diggeste aksent. Loveedubdubit! Og så har vi Nebraska, som er så fin og morsom og ekte om en gammel manns jakt på sitt siste eventyr. Jeg vil også anbefale The Broken Circle Breakdown. Den tar for seg det verste som kan skje et menneske, å miste sitt barn. Men det er egentlig ikke poenget med filmen, for filmen skildrer forholdet mellom mann og dame, fra de møtes og forelsker seg til livet etter de mister jenta si. Utrolig fin film med masse musikk, tatoveringer og kjærlighet.

Italienske The Great Beauty skjønte jeg ikke en dritt av, og American Hustle var kjedeligere enn jeg hadde forventa. Dallas Buyers Club er bra da. Se den. Elsker forvandlingen Matthew Mc-You-Know-Who har gjennomgått på skjermen de siste åra. Fra pus til røff. Her snakker vi filmhelt. Så dere Oscar-talen hans? Dæven, han er god! Han er trolig også den eneste som har gjort Texas-dialekta sexy. Phew.

I saw nine movies in February. It’s not that many, but True Detective and House of Cards demanded their time on the screen. Of these Filth is the best, because it’s dirty and horrible and has James McAvoy in the leading role and is based in Scotland with the nicest accents in the world. Loveedubdubit! And then there’s Nebraska, which is so lovely and funny and real about an old man’s hunt for his last adventure. I also want to recommend The Broken Cirle Breakdown. it’s about the worst things that can happen to a person, losing a child. But that’s not the point of the movie, because it’s more about the relationship between man and woman from the first encounter to the life after they lose their little girl. Incredibly nice movie with lots of music, tattoos and love. I didn’t understand anything of Italian The Great Beauty, and American Hustle was more boring than expected. Dallas Buyers Club is good, see it. I love the transformation Matthew Mc-You-Know-Who has gone through on screen over the past few years. From flirt to rough guy. We’re talking about a movie hero. Did you see his Oscar speech? Man, he’s good. He’s possibly also the only person who’s made the Texan dialect sexy. Phew. You’ll find me on Letterboxd.com.
