Change Can Be A Good Thing

Somedays I feel like blogging, and most days I don’t. When I first started blogging I went crazy, I took on blogging like I take on life- full speed ahead. I dove right into the world of blogging and had my picture on every sidebar known to mankind. And it worked, I got my name out there and it became a huge game of how many views, followers, comments, and so on I could get. I loved it, I started blog hops that were super successful and had all the bells and whistles with my layouts. I was all in! Then I had kids… I honestly don’t know how the “mommy bloggers” do it. I’m thinking you get NO sleep whatsoever because you are probably blogging during nap times instead of sleeping. I always choose sleep. I thought I knew how much work goes into being a mom, but wow was it so much more than even I thought! My baby will be 3 months old next week and I am loving every minute of it but she definitely takes up most of my time, especially since we are on the way to adopting her and have a social worker out to our house what seems like everyday. And yes, they expect your house to be clean. Anyways I decided I needed something to kind of refresh my whole blogging experience, to make me excited about it again and inspire me to post more. I thought about a couple things but I am ultimately deciding to move my blogger blog to wordpress. Just the thought of it makes me excited to learn more and in return post more! My husband has also been begging me to blog more (he LOVES my blog) and so he said he would help me out and maybe do a few posts here and there! So hearing his side of things could be interesting. Nothing else is changing, since I put so much work into this name it will stay the same! So look forward to seeing you all on wordpress very soon… What inspires you to post on your blog and how often do you post? Leave a comment below, I’d love to know!
