Invisi Bobble loving…

For some reason, this feels like a really random post – but I guess it isn’t really?! These simple little springy rings have become a staple of mine in the last few months. They’re usually not to be found too far from me – especially when working or going to bed. I have a few in my bed side basket (we don’t have bedside tables…just this big headboard thing with shelves…so a basket it is). The big promise they make is that they’re ‘invisible’ (see what they did there… Invisi-bobble…invisible…clever). So they promise not only to look subtle when in the hair (not sure the bright colours do this quite as well as the natural ones) but they claim to leave the hair kink-free when let down.

Now, in all honesty – for me, they do still leave a slight kink. But it’s far more subtle in my hair. Plus, because I have fine hair and need to wrap the ring around twice – this could mean I’m messing with the springy design in some way so the bobble might not be able to do it’s Invisi-bobble thing… BUT, that doesn’t make these a deal breaker for me at all (as you can probably guess). The kink is more subtle with these than a typical hair band – they’re perfect for throwing hair up into a messy bun to keep out of the way when working. Or putting up overnight to avoid it getting dirty overnight in face creams/oils etc.

Plus the turquoise ones are my favourite colour… which basically always wins me over! A simple little hair essential – a twist on the normal hair band with the added bonus of more subtle kinks being left behind. Oh, and they are of course available in more subtle colours than the few I have here – including simple clear.
