Summer to Fall Style: 3 Easy Pieces
Every September, I rely on a few key pieces to carry my wardrobe over from the warm months of summer to the cooler fall weather. In today’s post, I am wearing 3 key pieces that every woman should own this season. Why? Because they are “in style” every year around this time
PIECE #1: The Leopard Print Pump
It’s about that time to start shifting away from the open toed sandals during the workday to the closed toe pump. These heels are SUCH a perfect affordable find (I’ve actually been looking for a dark animal print heel so was thrilled to find these at Sears this past weekend!)
STYLE TIP: Wear these heels instead of your standard brown or black heels. Leopard print acts the same as a neutral print…yet packs a whole lot more style punch!
PIECE #2: Slouchy Sweater
Hooray for sweaters!! I recommend an open weave sweater for the transition season and the light color works well for the changing seasons.
STYLE TIP: Go up one size for your sweater to have the loose relaxed look if you are wearing skinny jeans or a fitted jean pencil skirt like I am here.
PIECE #3: Jean Skirt
Every woman should own a jean skirt. I like the idea of a denim pencil skirt for the changing seasons…definitely appropriate for a casual Friday style in most casual work settings!
And I know what you’re thinking! It’s still in the 100’s here in Las Vegas and I’m wearing a sweater?! Well today was an epic day you guys. The rain hit full force and the temps cooled considerably. I mean, we are talking a drastic shift to almost the high 80’s. My husband wanted to turn the heat on
