Are You Ready for Some Football?!
We are a family obsessed with our sports. I have The Bears (and yes…I capitalize “The” on purpose!) and my Oregon Ducks to cheer on this season. My husband has…oh…let’s just say NOT the Bears and Ducks. So obviously, he is lame.
We have a family ritual every Sunday morning that revolves around sports:
– we head to the dog park so our puppies can play (i.e. so they will be too tired to destroy stuff)
– then we walk to the park on our street to toss Cooper’s football around and play before we go watch The Bears win!
I was pretty darn excited when Sears asked me to pick out and share with you some more casual duds for the sports season. Not gonna lie…I thought about wearing my shorts with heels just to play a trick on you but my husband convinced me that was lame. And since he is a Husky fan, he knows all about being lame so I listened to him. Hehe!)
So no. I don’t wear heels when I’m running around with Cooper. These shorts shoes tank are kinda my uniform on those Sunday mornings.
Oh wait! Cooper spots an Oakland Raiders fan in public! A rare sighting indeed.
And no…my shoes did not make those streaks. Must have been some other mom with no sense of adventure for flying down suburban slides. High likelihood she is a Packers fan.
When you are cheering on your team, whether it be from the comfort of your couch or high up in Autzen Stadium, you want to be cozy. And you guys…these pants and this jacket are ridiculously cozy. See if they come in your team colors!
Once you have your comfy game day clothes on, you can color coordinate your beverages. Just an idea…you know…another accessory.
And I picked up my husband some game day clothes while at Sears as well. Aren’t I thoughtful?
So I hope you enjoyed this little peek into our “Sports Sunday” ritual! And now I need to go find Cooper some proper gear for tonight’s game…the Bears play the Jets! Wahoo!!
