Thanks for the company

There’s been a lot of chatter about analytics this past week on the blogs I read. Having to do with competition vs. comparison, lurkers happen to the best of us, and the beginners guide to analytics.

To be honest, I care and I don’t care. I know, I’m fickle right?! I care because my business is online and it matters how many visitors come to my sites. I also need to keep my Partnership page updated for potential ‘interested businesses’ so the “numbers” do matter in that respect. But, in all honesty I suppose you can say I respect the numbers, I don’t sweat the numbers… it’s just a small part of the big picture and I get that.

Shamefully, I didn’t have my analytics properly set up for carrielovesdesign.com (I KNOW!) but I should have some great data next month… I fixed it yesterday and the numbers are already rolling in.

And, maybe I shouldn’t have written off my Facebook Pages… well, actually that’s probably still a good decision. The visits I’m getting from FB are probably from a FB group of NC bloggers that I belong to and post to with my personal FB account. S’all good.
