Catrice Fall/Winter 2014 and Metallure LE - Preview

Ready for a big post with lots of new stuff? Then read on! :) As usual, Catrice will change their standard assortment again for Fall/Winter, and here's all the new stuff! Of course that means a lot of items will leave the displays as well, and the new items will be available in August, so make sure to get any backups you might like - or just check out the sale that usually comes before these changes! :) Check out this post by Die Lackmamsell to see what items will be removed! Some of the products in this post are already in their assortment, what's shown can simply be a new color that's being added (for example on some skin products). If you like to know more about something, let me know! And as always, images are clickable for an enlargement.

Top row, left to right: It's Showtime - Blue Skyfall - Let's Get Lost In Vegas - Lost 'N Roses
Botton row, left to right: Plum Fiction - Bronze Upon A Time - Stars & Stories - My Big Green Wedding

Luxury Lacquers Million Brilliance (€3,59). These come in a 'premium glass bottle', and I don't know about you, but I sure like the look of it! But that name rings a bell, doesn't it? Catrice had a LE called Luxury Lacquers, and part of it were the Million Brilliance glitter polishes. Let's hope they'll bring more sets of that LE to their standard stuff! =)

Anyway, back to these polishes, below you can see a close-up of each bottle, I figured that could be nice :) And yes, this image can be clicked too, if you'd like to see the glitters even bigger!

Ultimate Nail Lacquer (€2,99) & Ombre Top Coat (price unknown to me). I skipped close-ups of the creme polishes, but below you'll see a close-up of the other polishes.

But that's not all, Catrice will also bring out a new limited edition in August and September. This LE is called Metallure, and as always, when polish is said to be metallic, I can only think of 1 thing... stamping! Let's hope these will be pigmented enough :)

Nail polish: Alluring Red - Alluring Pink - Metalight - Metallicious - Metalfusion. € 2,99
Lipstick: Metalight - Alluring Pink - Alluring Red. € 3,99

Sooo, what do you think? Anything special that caught your attention? I have to say that I've been more excited about previous standard assortment changes, not that any of this looks bad, but that's a lot of glitter polish, haha! And I can totally love how a glitter polish looks, but I just don't find myself wearing them that often. But who knows, maybe when I see them in the stores... ;)
The polishes that I'm most curious about are a few of the ones shown in the 2nd close-up, and I like the idea behind that Ombre polish! But my inner Negative Nancy wonders how well that'll work :P I think it has to be a polish that applies very smooth and even, to get a nice result on every nail, and should be very thin and quick drying. You'll have to apply a regular polish first, so that's often a few coats already, then 1-4 coats of that polish, that could pile up quickly! Ah well, I'm sure we'll know how well it works in just a few months time :) Thanks for looking!
