Dance Legend New Promise

Hi lovelies, here's a post with yet another Dance Legend stunner! But before I show that one, I just wanted to let you know that my break from fostering kittens will be very short this time... 3 days to be precise, haha! The shelter contacted me today to ask if I want to foster a 6 week old kitten that had such a badly injured frontleg that they had to amputate it, he's been at the vet ever since they brought him in last week, and now he's well enough to recover further at a guest home. Uhm yeah, how can I say no to that! :) He'll arrive around 5 this afternoon, and I'll of course show him here as well sometime, but I'm not sure if that'll be straight away. I don't know yet how the wound looks and if I can capture him well without showing too much, because I do understand not everyone wants to see such things. But he'll be on my fosterblog for sure, there I always post a lot more pics :)

Aaanyway, Dance Legend. More awesomeness. Lots of pictures. Let's check it out! =) New Promise is part of the Holodays collection, just like Neptune, but this one's a bit different than Neptune. They're both holo, but Neptune has the stronger holo effect, while this one has a subtle duochrome effect! These pictures show that a bit already, but in case you'd like to see more of this polish, I'll be posting another mani with it soon with more daylight pictures! (update: here's the stamped mani)

Dance Legend Holodays 852 New Promise.

I don't find it easy to describe a polish, but here goes: the base color is copper to burgundy/purple, with rose and brown flashes, depending on the angle, and it has a scattered holographic effect that's strong enough to look linear in sunlight. Yeah, let's keep it at that, haha! :D I wish I could've captured the daylight look a bit better on my swatches, but as I said, it'll be on the blog again with the stamped mani that I'll be showing soon!

I used 2 easypeasy coats, without base/top coat. I don't often wear top coat on holo polishes, because it can dull the holo effect. But after finishing my stamped mani with top coat, I can say that this one doesn't get any less holo! And that of course looks better in daylight as well :)

Lamplight shows the purple side of this polish better:

I love how this polish look awesome in every light, and how it's a mature holographic color, if that makes sense? Very pretty if you ask me!

And in sunlight the holo shows well, it's quite a strong effect ♥

Definitely a polish that scores high for me on all points, from application, drying time and holo effect to the complete result on my nails, love it! Thanks for looking :)
