press sample Hi guys! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today I am taking part in the piCture pOlish BlogFest! This is the 3rd year I've taken part in BlogFest, it's always fun to see what other bloggers for nail art. I always discover great blogs I haven't heard of through it! This year we were tasked with using 2 piCture pOlish shades and Nail Vinyls to create a fun look! Before I get to that though I have a swatch of a new shade called Eyre to share with you.
Eyre is blue/purple duochrome with a nice holo shimmer. The formula is good, it was a little sheer and patchy on the first coat but the opacity builds easily. I used 3 coats for the photos below.
For my nail art the shades I got are 2 new ones called Bette and Pandora, I'll have swatches of them on their own in a future post. Both are really pretty scattered holos, I love the way they look together. The Nail Vinyls I got were the new Right Angle vinyls, at first I was a little lost about what I wanted to do so I ended up playing around and doing nail art skittles by using the Nail Vinyls in a different way on each nail.
The Right Angle Nail Vinyls come in 2 sizes, small ones like I used on the middle, pinky & part of my ring finger nail and larger ones that I used on the index nail and part of my ring finger nail. My favorite nails ended up being my middle and ring finger!
I also added G'Day Matte from piCture pOlish over my nail art because I wanted to see how it would look matte. I have to say I LOVE it, I think I actually prefer how it looks matte!
