OPI Pink of Hearts 2014 Duo Swatches & Review

press sample Hi guys! Today I have OPI's Pink of Hearts duo for 2014 to share with you! This is the 8th annual Pink of Hearts set for Breast Cancer Awareness. In addition to this LE set, OPI is also donating $25,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada! This years Pink of Hearts duo includes Mod About You, which is one of their core shades, and a brand new glitter than can be layered over Mod About You or worn on its own. The duo also comes with a cute file that is pink and glittery...always good to have an extra file handy! I put mine in my purse! Check out the swatches after the jump!

Mod About You is a light pink creme. I'm pretty sure I have a bottle of this somewhere in my stash but apparently I've never actually swatched and posted it haha! The formula was really nice, it did have some minor streakyness on the first coat but it was evened out easily with the second coat. I used 2 coats for the photos below.

The Power of Pink is dark pink and white glitter in a pink jelly base. This can be worn on its own, most likely you'll need 3-4 coats for full opacity. I really love how this looks over Mod About You so that's how I wore it! The formula was good layered, it was easy to apply and the glitter payoff was good. I used 1 coat over Mod About You for the photos below.

The Pink of Hearts 2014 duo will be available in September and October at professional salons including Beauty Brands, beautybrands.com, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard's, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, Ulta and ulta.com. Pink of Hearts 2014 retails for $16.95 ($21.50 CAN)
