MYNY - London

It feels like ages ago I embarked on a project with DKNY fragrances as part of a launch campaign for MYNY - The latest addition to the Donna Karen New York fragrance family. I've actually reviewed the scent - inspired by the girls on the streets of New York city over on my beauty blog if you want a full low down. But it's just a fresh take on the iconic brand scents. This one boasts a blend of raspberry, pink pepper and galbanum, with by Egyptian jasmine, freesia and orris at the heart. Before finally going into a base composition of patchouli, vanilla absolute and musk.

Honestly we shot these images way back in the summer so it feels like forever since we did them! But today Im finally allowed to share all the awesome imagery we created when we did the shoot. My friend Jake took the photos for me at a bunch of iconic London locations and they came out so well, Albeit with a touch of overly posing but hey I did feel like I was in a proper perfume advert!

We went to some of the big London places, like this little shoot we did outside Big Ben! How cool is that! I’ve always wanted a photo with the iconic landmark! Also had a little wander around South Bank around the area of the London Eye. I’ve been on the London Eye a few times and although people say it’s a bit naff it is actually really fun. I totally recommend going at night as you have an awesome late night view of the city!
After a long day exploring we headed to my favourite cafe out east called Kahaila. It has THE BEST RED VELVET CAKE EVER. Seriously, I cannot get enough of the stuff. Every time Im near Brick Lane I have to stop off for a slice and tell myself how unacceptable it would be to have two!
