NYC Is For Lovers

Firstly, happy new year! And it seems that my first outfit post of 2014 is one of my most casual ever. But after the inevitable food indulgence at Christmas a flow-y top is a must at the moment (I’m currently sat next to a box of Quality Street…). I know I often say that casual outfits aren’t usually what I go for (give me a fitted skirt and collared shirt any day) but something about a jeans and tee outfit (especially if it includes this ‘NYC is for Lovers’ top from Wildfox) has been a little more up my street recently. Their dreamy collections always leave me with a feeling of wanderlust, and I really would love to go to New York one day (with a lover in tow, perhaps…!). And considering I only have a pair of Converse and New Balance trainers in my ‘casual shoe’ collection, this slightly punky pair from Rocket Dog are looking like my go-to slip on shoes; I love the studs finish on the front! With a slick of red lips to finish, I think I’m bringing in 2014 with a decent casual outfit!
