Blogging has allowed me many opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise have. One of those is to get to try products for review in order to provide an unbiased opinion on my blog. This week, I’m reviewing Kroger Skillet Meals.
Even though I’m a stay-at-home mom, it doesn’t always mean I have all day to prepare dinner. If I’m not doing a crock pot meal, there’s usually some sort of chaos around the time when I need to start cooking dinner, so I like to have something super quick and easy to get dinner on the table when Rial gets home.
Kroger Skillet meals are ready in 10 minutes and come in a variety of flavors, including: tuscan-style penne, chicken fajitas, shrimp lo mein, sausage rigatoni, and my personal favorite, sorrento-style gnocchi. Each bag contains 2 servings, and each serving is 20g or more of protein. For our family, this usually equates to one portion for Rial and then Alden and I. The protein is especially important for me!
As a part of this review, I tried the gnocchi and I was also provided some of the awesome Kroger sides, like the Kroger salad kit and garlic bread, which were a great addition to a quick, easy meal.
Usually, Rial calls me when he’s about 10 minutes out, and even in chaos, I’m usually able to dump the bag in a skillet, turn it on, an go back to handling the kids. It’s ready when he walks through the door. We’ve definitely kept these in stock in our freezer!
