ELF Mineral Facial Cleanser - Review

I have seen the ELF Mineral Facial Cleanser on the website for a very long time, and I've always been curious to try it, especially since I am dedicated to my Tatcha Enzyme Powder, I feel that a powder product is the ultimate gentle cleanser. Well, I'm so glad I finally tried it because it has become my go-to cleanser for the past month or so. I usually used the Pond's Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser, but I've noticed that if I use it daily, my skin begins to dry out and itch (a sign that it is too aggressive on my sensitive skin). The ELF Mineral Facial Cleanser is gentle enough for me to use every day, I experience no negative reactions, it thoroughly cleanses my skin, but not too harsh where it feels "squeaky clean", and it has a silky texture, the comfort of having no grit in a cleanser is very refreshing and relaxing.

While the packaging is plastic, it's sturdy. I keep mine in the shower and it stays dry. I use anywhere from a quarter size to a silver dollar size... like a generous little heap of powder - for those days I wore a ton of makeup. With a wet face and wet hands, the powder quickly transforms to a silky smooth thin cleanser, there's no excessive lather, and there's pretty much no sensation other than soft skin after rinsing. I find that this cleanser doesn't dry out my skin afterwards either, so I have ample time to apply my serum and eye cream before feeling the urge to get my moisturizer on my face - and did I mention I have really dry skin?

Overall, I'm very impressed with this cleanser, I wasn't expecting to fall in love with it like I have. It's so easy to use, easy to travel with, easy to rely on for a daily cleanser, and best of all it is sensitive skin friendly.
