Women's Rogaine - Get Thicker Hair!

(sponsored post with #CollectiveBias and its advertiser #MoreIsBeautiful)

I feel like I lose a lot of hair when I shower, when I brush my hair, when I sleep, even when I touch my hair throughout the day. Although I lose a lot of hair, I'm not balding (thankfully), so now I'm actively looking to help my thinning hair along my hair line and the front section of my head,. When I had bangs last year I felt like it camouflaged it but it's just too hot here in the SF Bay Area to maintain bangs and a break-out-free forehead.

I have tried many products that claim to add volume and plump up hair, but they just don't have the lasting effect I wish they would. This past month I started using Johnson & Johnson Rogaine for Women every morning as part of a campaign with Collective Bias. To be honest, when the box arrived, I instantly felt intimidated, especially after reading some results won't show for up to 6 months. But ya know what? I found it so easy to stick to, no messy hassle, no reaction or even a sensation on my scalp, it was so simple that I found it very easy to incorporate in my morning routine.

The bottle has a locked cap, great for a family household, and an easy to use dispenser for the foam. I simply pump out a bit of foam onto my finger tips (one hand at a time) and smooth it along my "problem areas", which are my hair line and middle part, and side parts. The directions say you want to focus on the scalp and not so much the hair, that definitely took some getting used to. It dries very quickly and leaves a bit of residue (similar to a dry shampoo) but I can brush out my hair and it's fine to wear down all day - and it adds a bit of texture to my roots so I get an instant boost in volume. What I like the most about the convenience of Women's Rogaine, there is no scent to it, so I'm not walking around smelling of hair product, it's so discrete that you wouldn't even know (unless you've read this article).

A little step-by-step on how I do it super quick when I'm in a rush to run out the door, but I really don't want to forget my Rogaine routine. I skip applying with my hands and just pump a few small foamy dots along my hair line, then use my finger tips to press it onto the scalp and into my hair line. I quickly blow dry on cool and brush it through, instant volume and I've completed my daily Rogaine application.

You can find Women's Rogaine in your local Walmart with a $10 coupon attached, or online at Walmart.com.
