What Happens At Coachella...

Let's just say Coachella was one of the very very veryyyy best weekends of my life. I don't think I can even all sum it all up, but it was unreal in the most incredible way. The music, the energy, the happiness, the food, and man even the style. Ohh how I love myself some festival style! I'm still on a serious high from the weekend. And now, well I'm just trying to get back into the swing of life. Not going to lie, going back to workyesterday was a tid bit rough. =P

Coachella has this way of bonding people, I drove to Coachella with a girl who I had really only hung out with once and honestly barely knew, but we returned from Coachella really really good friends. It was all kind of amazing. Oh and just a tip, if you're a girl I highly highly recommend going to Coachella with one other girl friend who is super easy going and just really really loves to dance. It makes for the most amazing trip. =P

We arrived at Coachella Friday afternoon around 4pm and checked into our cheap little Indio Travelodge. We booked the hotel at the very last minute and I was a little worried about how it would turn out, but it was clean and really close to the festival which worked out nicely for us. Each day we drove to a lot about 6 miles from out hotel, parked our car, and took a shuttle to Coachella. Unfortunately the travelodge was just a bit too far from Coachella for us to walk and we had to drive our car from the shuttle stop to the travelodge at the end of night. This my friends... I do not recommend. Get a hotel that has a shuttle dropoff point. It is so sooo worth it, especially because the taxi and Uber lines at Coachella were at least an hour long each night.

It's impossible to see all the bands and DJs you want to see at Coachella, but Friday night was soo soo good. The energy was intense, the weather was perfect, the beer garden was popping, and everybody just danced danced danced. My Friday night favorites were Ellie Goulding, Chromeo (sooooooooooo freaking great), and Outkast.

For your viewing pleasure a glimpse into Friday night at Coachella, brought to you by a mixup ofmy point and shoot camera and cell phone. ;)

Even the food at Coachella was delicious, Spencer Makenzie's grilled mahi mahi tacos.
