I feel like lately all of my blog posts start with some excuse for my recent silences.. but really I don't have one. Other things just keep getting in the way. Weekends of by the coast, visits to Barter Books and far too many patron tequilas, the last couple weeks and recent bank holiday are still a bit of a blur. So let's just skip the excuses, shall we?

With the warm weather starting to emerge, I'm hoping that my days in tights are numbered for the season. I braved bare legs during the day last weekend (for the first time this season), but since the sunshine disappeared, I'm back to covering up. I think I'm just a bit fed up of the in between and ready to unpack my warm weather clothes. I've started investing in a few new bits and pieces.. including a summer coat.. But judging by most of my recent wardrobe additions, my uniform of choice will continue to be gingham. Paired with the leather skirt I seem to live in, I'm starting to wonder if I need a little more variety in my life. Or possibly, I'm just looking for reasons to go shopping. I'll keep you posted.
