DIY “MARBLE” TABLE

Við Rebekka höfum átt Malm snyrtiborð í um 2 ár núna og það hefur gengið í gegnum nokkrar breytingar á þeim tíma og verið sett upp í 3 íbúðum. Upphaflega var það svona, með makeup myndum sem veittu innblástur undir glerplötunni, svo var það bara hvítt og nú er það með marmaramunstri. Margar makeup óðar fylgdu okkar fordæmi enda er þetta borð frekar fullkomið fyrir snyrtiaðstöðu með speglum og ljósum frá IKEA fyrir ofan, hér bloggaði Rakel um sitt.

Ég er mjög ánægð með þetta “marmara look” sem það er með núna, en ég prentaði bara út 8 blöð af marmaramunstri sem ég lét fylla út í blaðsíðuna, klippti til og raðaði undir glerplötuna. þetta tók um 5 min og er skemmtileg lausn þar sem marmari er mjög dýr en rosalega fallegur.

Rebekka and I have had a Malm makeup table for about 2 years now and in that time we have put it through some changes. It has been in three apartments, and looked originally like this, with makeup inspirational pictures, then it was plain white and now it has put on this marble look. Many makeup crazed friends of yours got one of those genius makeup tables with the Ikea mirrors and Hollywood lights, Rakel blogged about her vanity here.

I love this “marble look” and it was so easy to do, I just printed out 8 sheets of marble print that a made to fit the page in PowerPoint, cut it to fit and arranged under the glass top. This took five minutes and was as good as free and since marble is not this will do for now.
