Have you ever heard of
Gorjuss? I bet you have! Gorjuss is a trademark illustration of cute little dolls (they were selling one of the collections in Boots over Christmas, I believe) introduced to the market by
Santoro London - a brand older than me (founded 1983), a brand which to me represents
the cuteness of the world. I mean - they sell things that have cats with
handbags on them. And
birds and little
foxes and tiny girls made out of
bird cages & lace! This is
a brand introduction plus a sneak peek into their beautiful collections.
As I've already mentioned,
Santoro London was founded in 1983 in a little studio in London. Since then the brand grew immensely and is now available in over 60 countries over the world (
whaat?!). They sell a number of different collections and lines - ranging from stationery to beauty & clothing. They are the perfect destination for gift shopping (think
Paperchase-style) but also for daily lifestyle purchases such as mugs, diaries and cards.
I dare you not to 'awwh' when looking at the pictures below, ha!
All of the products I had the chance to hold in my own hands and test were fantastic. The materials are great quality, the prices are reasonable and everything comes thoughtfully packaged. While researching the brand, I happened to develop a rather soft spot for their
card collection. The illustrations remind me of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales which I used to read just about every day as a child. See some of my favourite picks below - aren't they the
sweetest?
