It’s food friday and Ana from Fluxi on Tour is back with an easy, but oh-so-delicious recipe! These sautéed tomates are quick to make and a perfect starter to impress your guest at a dinner party. Over to Ana…
What you need:
- 3 tbp olive oil
- 1 pack of cherry or mini heirloom tomatoes
- 2 twings rosemary (chopped)
- 3 twings thyme (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- salt & pepper to taste
What to do:
1. Wash and rinse the tomatoes. Cut them into halves.
2. Heat the olive oil on medium heat, add the tomatoes and sauté for about 3 minutes.
3. Add rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper and sauté for another 5-7 minutes.
You will see when the tomatoes get soft, the skin will start to peel off. That’s your call, you don’t want them to be too mushy.
You can serve this easy appetizer with some fresh bread or crackers. I also added some pesto, just to support the taste of the tomatoes. Bon appétit!
