Monet’s Garden Bridal Inspiration

When I was a little girl I had this children’s book about French impressionist Monet. It was one of my favorite books, I was so captivated by it I would often dream myself into his garden in Giverny, surrounded by flowers and looking at the famous water lilies in the pond.
In my adult life, I managed to see various of his Nymphéas paintings in different museums all over the world, but up to this day I have actually never been to Monet’s garden in northern France. So imagine my excitement when FleurdeSucre sent me this enchanting bridal shoot, set in the very place Monet got his inspiration from!

Says the photographer: “I had the incredible chance to spend a couple of hours in the magical (and empty) former home of Claude Monet, to create my own vision of a little love story in an enchanted garden. The place is so fabulous that it naturally became one of the main characters of this shoot.
A big thank you to the Fondation Claude Monet who made this possible, and to the whole team of talented vendors that traveled to Normandy with me and was so involved and creative!”
