Provence Wedding Inspiration Under The Almond Trees

There are days when I can’t wait to get in front of the computer because I know there is a ton of gorgeous images waiting for me, and I just get so excited at the thought of sharing them with you. Today is one of these days.

Studio A&Q is a Italian wedding photographer duo residing in Provence, and they teamed up with some great French vendors to bring us these almond-inspired Provence wedding ideas. From the soft look of the floaty bridal gown, the wild flowers, the rustic decor elements to the favors from L’Occitane… the styling of Un Grand OUI is simple French country bliss. An almond orchard like this one could be the perfect setting for an idyllic elopement, don’t you think?

From the photographers: “There is a reason people come to Provence to celebrate love. Something magical and enchanted happens when two lovers promise themselves to each other under the dreamy light of a soft spring afternoon in Provence.

They will whisper je t’aime mon chéri as they sit gazing out over the sun-drenched landscape that has inspired painters and pioneers for, not years… but centuries. They will relish the sweet, honey-like smell of surrounding almond flowers, as its cradles them into a state of pure bliss. They will sip a divine glass of rosé chilled to perfection and made with the grapes of the vines that are just a few steps away. They will stop their clocks and drift into timelessness, that place where the soul must go to restore itself.”

“Provence is a haven of natural beauty, and lavender and olive trees are not its only asset. The almond trees of Provence are among the first to blossom in March, and their beautiful delicate white flowers blossom for a period of two to three weeks, just before the cherry trees begin to showcase their soft pink flowers.

Kelina & Romain fell in love all over again on this dreamy afternoon among the almond blossoms of Provence. A group of immensely talented local vendors came together to imagine how this day would look, and with the help of almond producer Monsieur Jaubert (“Jo-bear”) and L’Occitane, what was at first simply an incredibly beautiful vision of love and romance in Provence, turned into reality.”
