#DoYou Fearless Style Lounge with Motions Hair
These past few months I’ve loved the hairstyles created by Ebony with the Motions Hair line as well as other popular vloggers. So, when I heard Motions and Essence were bringing the Fearless Style Lounge and #DoYou movement to NYC along with Ursula Stephen I quickly RSVPd “yes”.
On September 10th the Fearless Style Lounge in NYC was held at Salon SCK in Midtown Manhattan, a swanky, modern salon. The space was filled with gorgeous hair, beautiful people and lots of style. Everyone was bitten by the NYFW bug so they showed up and showed out!
One product of particular note is the Motions Hair Straight Finish, a 3 part smoothing system, which has a keratin enriched shampoo, conditioner and radiating sealant to straighten natural tresses without causing permanent heat damage. The system temporarily loosens curls for easier straightening with better results but washes out and allows your texture to revert with your next wash.
There were passed h’ordeuvres, cocktails, a photo booth, beauty makeovers and of course hair makeovers as well!
Celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen, known best for some of her creations on Rihanna, took the stage a few times showing off her gorgeous work (pictured below with the microphone) and reminding the crowd not to give up and most importantly “DO YOU!”
I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Giella of giella.com, the owner of an amazing custom blend cosmetics company based in NYC. Her array of colors was insane! I arrived a little late so I missed out on the Fearless Style Lounge goody bags but I did manage to snag one of these these custom blended nail beauties gifted to all attendees by Giella!
