DIY Faux Bob

So you got long locks you love, but are scared to chop ‘em? You’re in luck! The Faux bob is in vogue. This hairstyle is super easy and super chic. Flaunt it like you got it! I say, why make it when you can fake it? ;) Just pin your length underneath for messy, uber chic look and your faux will look fab!

So here are the steps and things you need.

Things you need to rock the look:

• Your Favorite hair brush
• Lots of bobby pins (Trust me you will need lot of ‘em)
• Hair Clips (~2-3)
• ~4-5 Elastic bands (Matching your hair color)
• Hair curler (Don’t forget to apply heat protectant spray before using curler or straightener)
• Hair spray (medium to hard hold)

Step 1: Get your hair squeaky clean and prep them for some work

Step 2: Partition your hair from crown area and clip it up.

Step 3: With the hair left at the bottom make 3 equal partitions

Step 4: Braid the bottom part of the 3 partitions and secure them with elastic band as shown in the picture (I know this picture looks funny :P)

Step 5: This is a very important step, so carefully roll up the braids and bobby pin them at the bottom. Use a hair spray after this.

Step 6: Untie the hair in the crown area and Voila!! You’ve already lost half the length of your hair. Like it??

Step7: Curl and finger comb them to make messy romantic ringlets (Messy is chic ;)) or if you like, you can curl them neat.

Step 8: Secure those nasty loose ends with an elastic band and bobby them underneath. Use your hair spray again and we’re done!
