DIY Flag Shorts

We all have a pair of shorts that we just don’t use anymore. It’s time we take em out and decorate the heck out of it. We for one are suckers for the american flag print. If you love the American Flag just as much as we do, here’s a DIY that would show you how to get that print on your shorts.

You would need

Pair of shorts (the more it’s ripped the better)

Red & White Fabric Paint

Flat Paint Brush

Cardboard

Cello Tape

Glue

Pair of Scissors

& Studds

Step 1 : Cut star shaped design on your cardboard

Step 2 : Take a strip of cello tape and stick it alternatively on your shorts, like it’s shown in the picture

Step 3: Take the color white and paint it zone that does not have the cello tape on it

Step 4 : Knock off the cello tape and color that area red. We recommend going for white strokes before red just in case you are not really handy with the paint brush, you can still cover up your flaws with a stronger color

Step 5: On the other half of your denim, draw stars with the help of our star shaped cardboard cutout

Step 6: Right above your pockets, stick on your favorite studs with the help of hot glue gun!

Six easy steps and you would have a brand-new looking denim shorts to flaunt! And YES, it is just as easy as it sounds. Do it and let us know how it turned out for you ladies!
