Es ist so merkwürdig wieder in Berlin zu sein. Wenn ich meine Freunde treffe, dann habe ich das Gefühl als sei kaum Zeit vergangen. Wir quatschen genauso wie vorher und es fühlt sich einfach genauso wie vor meiner Reise an. Doch nachdem ich vor ein paar Tagen in die Stadt rausgefahren bin um ein paar Sachen zu erledigen ... Natürlich kenn ich alles und finde mich zurecht und selbstverständlich hat sich nicht plötzlich großartig etwas verändert, aber es fühlt sich einfach alles so ... anders an. Fremd. Ich fühle mich wirklich fehl am Platz. Mehrmals ertappe ich mich dabei, wie ich nach den Wolkenkratzern suche, nach den sechsspurigen Straßen und den bunt blinkenden Werbeschildern Ausschau halte. Ich vermisse Korea, ich vermisse Seoul. Und das, obwohl Berlin immer einen etwas größeren Stellenwert für mich hatte. Vielleicht brauche ich einfach noch etwas Zeit ...

It is so awkward being back in Berlin. When I meet my friends everything is normal and it feels as I haven't even left. We talk, laugh and get along together as no time has passed. But when I went to the city all by myself to do some stuff ... It is weird. Of course nothing has changed rapidly or noticeably but it feels differently. Strange. I really feel like I don't belong here. Once in a while I am looking for the sky scrapers, the six-lane streets and the neon billboards. I miss Korea and I miss Seoul. Even though Berlin was always a bit more important to me than my heritage country. Maybe I still need some time ...
