My last beauty box? Love me beauty - December

I feel a bit like a meanie for saying this, but I might be over beauty boxes. You can have too much of a good thing, and for me, I think having had a couple of years of back to back beauty boxes, I need a little break. It's funny because I was so excited for them at the beginning, and recently one of my non-blogger friends and my boss asked me about how beauty boxes worked and whether they should get a subscription. Of course I told them both that they should, and I know they'll really enjoy the surprise and anticipation, but right now for me, I need to downsize my products rather than add five more little extras each month!

So in what might be the last beauty box you'll see featured around here for a little while - here's what I got in my December Love me Beauty box! I just have to point out it's not the Love me Beauty box that's put me off beauty box subscriptions - what I've liked about this one, and the reason I've kept getting them after stopping with the rest, is that you can choose the contents of your box, so you're not going to end up with any products you can't or won't use :)

In the December box I got the Rodial Glamtox day cream, Lord and Berry pinky liner and nude lipstick, Headline Colors minky beige nail polish and S5's restore cream which I've not tried before. The Rodial day cream is my favourite product and the reason I went for this menu - I've tried a few Rodial products before and have been really impressed. The Lord and Berry products are really lovely, fairly universal colours so I'm pleased with those. The nail polish is nice, but I feel like I already have about 17 dupes for this shade already in my collection!
If you're not in a beauty-box-burn-out, check out the Love Me Beauty box subscription which costs £10 plus postage and packaging.
