Christmas gift ideas: The Body Shop glazed apple Christmas range
The Body Shop are really knocking it out of the park right now. Not only have they got some gorgeous Christmas ranges, but they also keep tempting me with amazing offers like 40% off, £25 off when you spend £50, free gifts and all sorts. You don't even have to hunt around for the deals - they helpfully pop the latest codes up right on their home page! There's a distinct possibility that everyone I know is going to be getting a Body Shop gift from me this Christmas, and my favourite contender from all the ranges so far, is the juicy glazed apple.
I have two of the products from the Glazed Apple range, but there are loads more including hand cream, lip balm shower gel etc. I think glazed apple is a slightly unexpected scent for Christmas, but I really love it. It's so fresh and crisp, and the green packaging is very Christmassy.
The glazed apple body butter comes in a familiar 200ml sized tub. It's a deliciously rich body creme made with shea butter. I love the creamy, buttery texture of The Body Shop's body butters. This will be getting plenty of use over the winter as my skin starts to dry out from all the cold outside and central heating indoors.
The glazed apple bath gelly is a lovely bath-time treat. It looks like a funky slime, and you just scoop a bit out of the tub and pop it into a running bath for lots of tasty smelling bubbles.
I love the novelty factor of this - the gelly is not overly runny, it's actually semi-solid, so you can pick it up and wiggle it around. The best thing is that is does this...
...but when you pop it back into the jar, it morphs back together again and sets back into a smooth jelly. How fun is that? A perfect gift for big kids like me!
