How to never be late paying bills again

I’ll admit – I’m pretty good with money.

Well, that’s my own opinion obviously. That doesn’t mean I don’t spend money. Quite the opposite. I spend plenty, I buy stuff I like, and I invest plenty of it in my business. I also ensure that I always pay my bills on time.

The truth is – I don’t know if I would know how to budget or plan around bills and finances if I didn’t have a business. I wanted to track how much money I was earning from my photography business AND this blog so I started tracking stuff on a regular ol’ spreadsheet 2 years ago. Then, I added expenses. Then, since I kept freaking out about whether I paid my bills or not (I kept forgetting. Sure, I always paid then but still, those couple of minutes of freak out time, thinking I was late, were not fun), so I added a table that reflected when and how much I paid for each bill.

It saved me a lot of headaches.
