You'd Think...

Finally! A Monday morning that, while I am exhausted, I'm a happy camper because my Bengals got a big win yesterday. Between an early bye week, two losses and a tie- my guys hadn't won in over a month so it was due time. Another on-the-edge-of-your-seat kinda' win, but I'll take it! You'd think I'd be used to these nail-biter games by now but I'm not. I'm emotionally drained each and every Sunday no matter the outcome.
You'd think when I had a busy working weekend I'd try to get as much sleep as I can, or not put anything else on my to-list for the time being. But with my backwards way of thinking I always tend to do more, accomplish more and squeeze in more when I'm busiest. It's like my way of telling my job, "Too bad! You aren't going to suck all the life out of me!" Even though sometimes I feel like it is! So I cranked the tunes and lit a favorite candle and got to work.
Jared and I had an awesome productive Saturday of errands and MORE decluttering. You'd think we'd be done by now. We live in a pretty small tri-level and I just can't get over how much junk we've accumulated. It truly disgusts me!! We've been making almost a weekly trip to donate stuff and I just feel a little better each time. Things are just things, not items that I need to always stuff in a closet or under a bed. If we're not using them- I want rid of them!
That night we tried out our brand new Just Dance 2015 game and loved it! You'd think with all the working out I've been doing that it would come easily to me. I will unashamedly admit that I borderline needed an inhaler after boogying to a few songs. The game is intense!! I'm looking forward to having a group of friends over soon so we can all play.
After sweating it out Jared and I carved our pumpkins together which was a blast. I decided to try a template for the first time which you'd think would make things easier. And while overall my pumpkin looks cute and definitely isn't something I could freehand, it wasn't that easy!

Keeping the template on the pumpkin took just as much work as the actual carving. Our end results were pretty awesome, I'd say. Who knows what Jared's is?? :)

And what night of pumpkin carving could be complete without propping up our pumpkins inside for a little bit and watching a Halloween classic?! You'd think Jared and I would be sick of the Great Pumpkin by now (I can't count how many times I've watched it) but nope- I'll love it forever!
