Just Dance!

I might have worked all weekend- but I also made time for a lot of Halloween and birthday fun! Friday night we had Caleb and Kayla over some of our cousins and friends in honor of Caleb's recent birthday. It was one of those awesome nights that we invited a lot of people assuming many wouldn't be able to make it- but were pleasantly surprised when everyone (and more!) showed up at our house. Any excuse to get together and celebrate something is a good time.
We were those mean people who stayed inside and didn't pass out candy (oops!) but instead indulged in some Monster Subs (local people, check them out here), gave gifts and then had the ultimate dance party extravaganza with Just Dance 2015. We also may have dug out an old costume box and forced our guests to wear random items throughout the evening. It was Halloween, after all ;)

Oh my gosh, what a workout! We all took turns dancing out butts off Friday night and by a few songs in, we'd all worked up a serious sweat. Although I personally think I won the night with Miley Cyrus' song 4x4, Jared and the guys might have been a close second with Frozen's Let it Go. If you weren't the one dancing, you were definitely the one laughing. We were cracking up! At one point I legitimately had tears coming down my face because of how silly we all looked.

Just Dance is seriously a game for the whole family and would make an awesome gift if you want to snag it from Amazon. The new game has more than 40 songs with super brand new hits and a few throwbacks (like Holding out for a Hero & You Spin Me 'Round) as well. After playing one too many "girly" songs, the guys were happy to mix it up with a little "Walk this Way" :) I didn't feel too bad about all that Halloween candy we stuffed ourselves with because the amount of calories I burned playing this game had to cancel them out! Just Dance is truly exercise in disguise.

And you know me- I always love when a company can tie in their awesome products to an even cooler cause. October was National Bullying Prevention Month which is why Just Dance and Stomp Out Bullying partnered up to show people everywhere that "it's okay to dance to your own beat!" The game is just another reminder that we can all let loose and be ourselves. That's what makes life fun!
