Hotspot: Groos Rotterdam

If you're a design, fashion, art, music, literature or just the all-round lifestyle lover, the concept store Groos is your first place to go in Rotterdam. It's close by the train station in a newly revived area with neighbors such as 'Bar', 'Hip Hop Huis', 'Zus Architects', 'Biergarten',… But more about those things in my city guide later. The store offers only quality products from Rotterdam, things they feel 'Groos' (a Dutch word for proud) about.

During the Eastpak tour through Rotterdam it quickly became clear that entrepreneurship & creativity is a thing flows through the air of this Dutch city. Groos not only wants to help starting businesses by promoting & selling their products, they also provide a place to work called 'Groos Workspace' in the basement area. Currently a tattoo artist, photographer, fashion designer and their own office take up the space. Above all Groos also gives extra advice if you're completely new to this whole entrepreneural world. Uhm yeah, where can I sign up? While I'm at it, I'll take lots of objects with me too!
