Architecture: Louis Vuitton Flagship Store Paris

Louis Vuitton - 101 avenue des Champs-Élysées - 75008 Paris
Louis Vuitton is one of those brands I've known since I knew what fashion was. Although I haven't always been a big fan of their classical monogram print (hey tastes differ!), I did always covet their exotic animal print handbags. Hopefully someday I might be able to call myself the lucky owner of one of those. For now, I thought it was quite unreachable to get so close to a true LV experience, luckily for me, being a photographer has it perks. As Tiany Kiriloff invited me to come along to photograph her discovering Louis Vuitton Secret Places in Paris. Only truly big publishers get that honor, so I had to pinch myself several times throughout that gorgeous summer day in June to check I wasn't dreaming.

Those who follow Belmodo have probably already seen her outfit post & the gorgeous home of Louis Vuitton in Asnières, where their exclusive atelier is located. They make those covetable animal print handbags there and also the highly exclusive items of each season. I'm going to share some pics Tiany didn't share on here as well soon, but for now I wanted to show you guys the gorgeous flagship store in Paris. Honestly while I've passed it, I hadn't been in there before, knowing I would cry my heart out at all the gorgeousness I can't afford. (Secretly I did while snapping these pics too). It was definitely fun to take on the role of photographer, I could secretly watch anyone under the motto of art haha.

Louis Vuitton is closely connected to those other things I love: travel & architecture. Therefore it's no surprise they have their own internal architecture department (created in 1998), one can only dream to be able to design these luxurious boutiques! What I loved the most is how ingenious the layout is, you easily flow throughout the store until you reach the more private & quiet upper floors. There are also hidden staircases and even a toilet behind those magnificent mirrored walls. The rooftop floor houses a special art exhibition space where the brand invites artists to make & showcase their work. The terrace gives an amazing view over the Champs-Élysées. What I also admire is that each store resembles each other while still keeping an unique atmosphere. If I ever make it to Japan, visiting the LV stores is definitely on my list, as they have the most experimental boutiques! But hey visiting the biggest Louis Vuitton boutique was already an experience on it's own.
