Flower Kiss Stick Velvet Matte Lip Color-Flamingo Flower (This is NOT a Rave…)

This might just be the driest lip product I have put on my lips…ever. I really feel like maybe I got a bad tube or something because this was like smoothing chalk onto my lips. OUCH!

I have loved most of the Flower beauty products that I’ve tried. I will hurt you over Zen Zinnia lip gloss and Wispy Wisteria lip butter. I love those two! But this broke the streak..hard. It goes on super dry. It shows my lip lines and makes them really noticeable. Ugh. And it’s so darn patchy looking.

But it stays on really well. That’s kinda laughable right? Even after rubbing my lips together the patchiness and lines stay put…damn.

This is one coat of color. BOOO HISS! I obviously disagree with some of the claims below. After reading some of the Walmart reviews I wondering even more about getting a bad tube. There are a lot of people that love this lipstick. I prefer to stick with other matte lipstick favorites. I love the Mac mattes (new matte formula) most of all. Not the retro ones-I love the ones I have but the formula not so much.

It’s such a shame the color Flamingo Flower is so beautiful. But I doubt I will wear this much. It’s about $6 at Walmart and with balm underneath & lip gloss on top and a little tender loving care this shade can work. I just am not a big believer in doing a lot of special things to make a product work.
