Phrase Play #5-June PTI Release

Hi friends! I am so excited to be joining in for day 1 of the June Release Countdown. Today, I am showcasing a new die in the Phrase Play series....#5. I have 4 projects today to show you 4 different ways to use it! This first card showcases a regular way to use the die with a little color....

I cut 5, 1/2" strips...one each of Harvest Gold, Melon Berry, Navy Blue, Spring Rain and Simply Chartreuse. I attached them to the card front and then popped the Phrase Play #5 die up on foam tape to cover the strips. I went in and stamped the little sentiments that come in the Phrase Play #5 stamp set. To finish the card, I rounded the corners of the card base with the 1/4" side of my Corner Chomper. SO easy and so fun!

Are you a fan of sentiment dies? I sure am and this die makes that happen! Kind of like a 2 for one really! I cut the die out using some patterned paper and then used my little scissors to easily snip 3 places where the word connected to the box and this is what I got....

LOVE the potential in this because this sentiment can go with so many of my PTI sentiment favorites. I added in a word from the Phrase Play #5 stamp set and then some fun little tabs that you will see more about soon. I cut a banner from the First Place Banner dies and then added in a heart and some liquid enamel dots. I round the corner of the front panel and then attached it to the white card base with foam tape.

I used the Phrase Play die in this next card, as a stencil.

I washi taped it down to a piece of white card stock and then used my distress blender to blend in some Pure Poppy ink on the bottom and Berry Sorbet on the top. I stamped another sentiment from the Phrase Play stamp set and a heart from Tabbed (coming soon). I used my Pink Marvy Circle punch....yes I still have those behind my door in a shoe organizer...and it fit the circle perfectly.

I filled the heart with some Glossy Accents and then added the circle to another Phrase Play die that I cut out in red. Before I attached the focal point, I used Background Basics: Super Stripes to make a little background decoration. I used foam tape to pop the whole thing on a Berry Sorbet base.

Are you still with me? hehe! Last card, I promise! I used the die here to make a little mini....

I cut a piece of white card stock, 5 3/4" x 3 7/8" to form the mini card. I added some Soft Stone striped paper on the card base, covering it with the Phrase Play die. I stamped a little hello from the Tabbed set...again coming soon! It needed some color at this point, so I added some enamel dots.

This die is amazing and has so many more possibilities for cards and scrapbooking. I hope you have enjoyed my cards! I know there is lots more to see.

Thanks for hanging out with me today! See you soon!
