27 hours of traveling later and I made it to Africa! My journey was a long one, but I survived by dressing comfortably and staying hydrated. I wanted to share my go-to travel outfit with you as well as a few tips/tricks I’ve learned over the years. My year round travel outfit consists of an oversized sweater, skinny jeans, light jacket, scarf, hat, and booties. I always get cold on planes so I like having multiple layers that can easily be taken on or off. To avoid getting dry and swollen, I drinks tons of water, cut out salty food, and moisturize my entire body right before I leave – this is something I recently started doing and it makes such a difference. I use Lubriderm on my body and Restorsea eye and day cream on my face. Before and after a flight, I spritz Evian mineral water or Susan Ciminelli seawater on my face which helps me feel refreshed and awake. It’s little things like this that make flying so much more enjoyable. I hope you had a great weekend!
