What's In My August Make Up Bag; My August Face

I feel like I haven't written a 'what's in my make up bag' post for quite some time, even though they're my favourite posts to write. I mix up what's in my make up bag on a monthly basis and today I'm excited to show you what's in my bag at the moment! PS, stay tuned for a Canada update post very very soon!

Clarins True Radiance Foundation - I will be doing a full review of this soon but this is a new foundation which is just a dream come true, it's not yet available to buy but I will let you know when it is. You all know how much I love a dewy finish and the finish of this is so so dewy. Make sure you apply lots of powder with it becuase when I say it's super dewy and radiant. This foundation gives such a flawless finish.
Guerlain Meteorites - You may remember these meteorites from one of my wishlist posts and I finally bit the bullet and bought them. I bought these on my recent trip to Paris and couldn't be happier. They're almost too pretty to use to be honest. I do just love the way that they look. I bought them after reading about them in Elle magazine, I just knew I had to get them as soon as I saw them. They smell amazing too, like sweets! They give the most beautiful, natural, silvery highlighted look.
Real Techniques Nic's Picks Brushes - Hopefully you've seen my blog post all about Real Techniques exciting new launch and my
interview with the Pixiwoo sisters so you'll know all about these! I cannot get enough of these two brushes this month, they're both from Nic's Picks (available in October) and they make make up application so much more easy and flawless. You'll all know by now just how much I adore Real Techniques and swear by them , but I never expected the new collection to be so good. The Duo-fiber face brush is perfect for applying my powder, it just goes on so nice and smoothly and then I use the new cheek brush to do my contouring and bronzer.

Kiehl's micro-Blur Skin Perfector - Oh gosh I just know that this is going to become another Kiehl's addiction. I have wanted this ever since seeing some of my favourite bloggers talk about it. If you read my blog lots you'll all know that I'm a massive primer lover (I am absolutely obsessed with primers) and this is just such an exciting addition to my collection. It kind of reminds me of Benefit's Porefessional which I have always loved. This has lipo hydroxy acid, bark and lentil exttracts in it so it's kind to the skin (very important). It's a lightweight skin smoother which instantly refines the skins texture and minimizes the appearance of pores while improving the skins quality over time (where can I sign up for an endless supply?) I just wish the tube was bigger! Kiehl's is most definitely one of my favourite brands this year.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Robust Rhubarb - Oh my gosh I am so happy that these are now in my life. I actually had a half an hour conversation with a friend recently about how good this product is. I've always loved the idea of cream blushers but I've always been far too scared to use them and not really known how to use them. I took the plunge this month and I don't think I'll ever look back. After applying my foundation, I rub a tiny bit of this into my cheeks and it just makes me look so full of life and awake. I love the understated colour of this, it's not too bright but it's still really pretty. I also love the name too, super cute. You can watch how easy this is to apply on
my new YouTube video!

MAC Medium To Dark Skin Finish Natural Powder - This is the best £22.00 you will ever spend, there I said it. This is my favourite powder of all time. It's the first face powder I ever used and I've fallen back in love with it. Sometimes you need to move away from a product to realise just how much you loved it to begin with. I re-bought this in duty free when I went to Jamaica and I'm so glad I did.

Me Me Me Correct & Perfect Concealer Kit - This is so adorable and hand-bag friendly, this tiny little set includes everything you need to cover dark circles, blemishes and it even comes with a setting powder. I think this is an absolute must have, plus it's only £6.99!

Nourish Golden Glow Illuminating Face Shimmer - I've featured this on my blog lots of times, you may remember it from my favourite highlighters post - I particularly love the tiny version of it because it means I can take it away with me on my travels. This just gives the nicest shimmer - I love golden highlighters.
Shavata Pointed Precision Tweezers - Shavata are just so fabulous at tending to brows so I had to get my own tweezers for home use. These are quite difficult to get to grips with because they're quite sharp and I'm used to slanted tweezers. Once you get used to them, you'll literally fall in love.
Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Set - This is the ultimate eye kit, particularly for someone who isn't that good at doing eye brows and eye shadow (me!) This is an eye contouring, defining and enhancing kit, it includes Benefit's famous boi-ing concealer, a lovely pink base shadow, a gorgeous shimmer contour shadow and a rich chocolate brown liner shadow and then two brushes. Obviously it comes with a step-by-step professional make-up lesson too in true Benefit style - it really makes doing eye shadow easy.
Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint in Poppin' Poppy - A full review of this is coming very soon but this gorgeous little lip tint from Clinique is pretty special! It gives me such a nice hint of colour whilst keep my lips nice and moisturised. I think this is a lovely Autumn shade too!

What's in your make up bag this month? What are you loving? Do you like the look of any of these products?

Lots of love, Em x
